Basic Occupational First Aid (BOFA)
The Basic Occupational First Aid (BOFA) course is designed to provide participants with foundational first aid knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively to workplace injuries and medical emergencies. This program emphasizes safety in construction and industrial environments, covering essential first aid procedures, emergency response, and incident management.
Participants will learn to recognize common workplace injuries, provide immediate care, and stabilize victims until professional medical help is available.
Course Objective
The objective of this course is to equip participants with the skills and confidence to deliver basic first aid in occupational settings. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Assess and respond to workplace injuries and medical emergencies.
Administer first aid for cuts, burns, fractures, and other common injuries.
Perform CPR and manage choking incidents.
Stabilize victims and provide care until professional medical assistance arrives.
Apply safe practices in emergency response to protect both the responder and the injured person.
Promote first aid awareness and readiness within the workplace.
