Emergency Response Team (ERT)
The Emergency Response Team (ERT) course is designed to train selected personnel in responding effectively to workplace emergencies. The program focuses on team coordination, emergency procedures, evacuation management, first aid, fire response, and communication during critical incidents in construction and industrial settings.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in managing emergency situations, supporting personnel safety, and minimizing damage to property and operations.
Course Objective
The objective of this course is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge required to operate as a competent member of an Emergency Response Team. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Understand the roles and responsibilities of an ERT member.
Respond effectively to fires, chemical spills, and other workplace emergencies.
Perform first aid and life-saving procedures as needed.
Coordinate evacuation and emergency procedures safely and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external emergency services.
Contribute to post-incident evaluation and continuous improvement of emergency response practices.
