HIRARC 2.0
HIRARC 2.0 course is an updated and practical program designed to enhance participants’ understanding of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control in the workplace. This course builds upon fundamental HIRARC concepts by introducing improved methodologies, current best practices, and practical applications relevant to today’s construction environments.
Participants will gain hands-on exposure to identifying hazards, evaluating risks, and implementing effective control measures to reduce workplace accidents and occupational health risks.
Course Objective
This course aims to strengthen participants’ competency in applying HIRARC principles effectively. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Understand the updated concepts and framework of HIRARC 2.0.
Systematically identify hazards associated with construction activities and work processes.
Assess risks using appropriate risk rating and evaluation methods.
Select and implement suitable risk control measures following the hierarchy of controls.
Develop and review HIRARC documentation for compliance and operational use.
Monitor and improve risk control effectiveness in the workplace.
Support proactive hazard management and accident prevention initiatives.
