Lifting Works Safety
The Lifting Works Safety course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to plan, execute, and supervise lifting operations safely in construction and industrial environments. The program covers hazard identification, risk assessment, lifting equipment selection, signaling, load handling, and regulatory compliance.
Participants will gain hands-on guidance on performing safe lifting operations, preventing accidents, and ensuring the protection of personnel, equipment, and materials.
Course Objective
The objective of this course is to equip participants with the competency to carry out lifting operations safely and effectively. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Identify hazards associated with lifting operations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures.
Select and inspect lifting equipment and accessories for safe use.
Apply proper rigging, slinging, and signaling techniques.
Plan and execute lifting operations in compliance with safety regulations.
Promote a culture of safety and accountability during lifting activities.
