OSH Coordinator (OSH-C)
The OSH Coordinator (OSH-C) course is designed to develop competent personnel responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs within the workplace. This course provides participants with a solid understanding of OSH legal requirements, hazard identification, risk assessment, safety documentation, and compliance monitoring.
Participants will gain practical knowledge on how to coordinate safety activities, assist management in implementing safety policies, organize safety meetings, and ensure effective communication between employers, employees, contractors, and regulatory authorities. The course emphasizes systematic safety management and proactive risk control to promote a safe and healthy working environment.
Course Objective
The objective of this course is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively coordinate workplace safety and health initiatives. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Understand the roles, responsibilities, and legal duties of an OSH Coordinator under applicable OSH regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of workplace safety and health policies and procedures.
Identify workplace hazards and support risk assessment and risk control processes.
Coordinate safety programs, training sessions, and toolbox meetings.
Monitor workplace compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain proper OSH documentation, records, and reports.
Support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action processes.
Promote a positive safety culture and effective safety communication within the organization.
