Overhead Crane Safety
The Overhead Crane Safety course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate and manage overhead cranes in construction, industrial, and manufacturing environments. The program covers hazard identification, load handling, inspection procedures, safe operating practices, signaling, and compliance with occupational safety regulations.
Participants will gain hands-on understanding of crane operations, risk control measures, and techniques to prevent accidents and property damage during lifting activities.
Course Objective
The objective of this course is to equip participants with the competency to operate and supervise overhead crane operations safely. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Understand the components, capabilities, and limitations of overhead cranes.
Conduct pre-use inspections and maintenance checks.
Operate cranes safely following standard procedures and signaling protocols.
Identify hazards and implement risk control measures during lifting operations.
Coordinate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure safe operations.
