Scissor Lift Safety
The Scissor Lift Safety course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate scissor lifts in construction, maintenance, and industrial environments. The program covers hazard identification, safe operating procedures, pre-use inspections, fall prevention, and regulatory compliance.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in using scissor lifts safely, planning elevated work, and mitigating risks associated with mobile elevated platforms.
Course Objective
The objective of this course is to ensure participants can safely operate scissor lifts while minimizing risks to themselves and others. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Identify hazards related to scissor lift operations.
Conduct pre-use inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
Operate scissor lifts safely according to standard procedures.
Apply fall protection and risk control measures.
Plan and execute elevated work safely and efficiently.
Promote a safety-conscious approach when working on mobile elevated platforms.
